Ticker for Token

1) In one sentences or less, describe your token. This isn’t the time to get wordy, just to the point!

RV is an R&D company based in New Zealand dealing with photogrammetry, volumetric and software for upscaling content with AI that is highly sought after by Facebook and others.

2) Do you have a video to introduce yourself or explain the token? Upload it here and share the link here. (Not required)

Tedx is dropping in a few days but check out one of the many articles in Forbes or the NZ media (scoop, nz herald, newshub etc) ‘realityvirtual’ ‘simon che de boer’ (our crazy ceo)

3) Do you have a logo for your token? If so, upload it here. (Not required)

The logo is ready to be updated it is a camera shutter with a 3d cube at the center, everyone and their dog has since copied our original logo.

4) How does your token work? Be as detailed as possible

The token should function in virtual worlds, like our lumiere award winning work on steam. It would also be useful if we can use it for app services. My partner on this is currently raving about React and Stripe. I really prefer web3 and what the blockchain space has to offer directly. We are currently working with AWS, I am keen to look at cloud services but we need to think about security.

5) What problem is your token aiming to solve? How will this positively impact the crypto industry?

Cutting down on post production costs and time, user developed content and advanced NFT’s that correlate in virtual worlds. For starters.

6) What was the inspiration of this token? How did you think of it?

We have always known that user content will be important for scaling the business and we have some of the most sought after workflows and pipelines in uber photogrammetry and volumetric. We actually produced the worlds first VR music video.

7) Are there any projects out there doing something similar?
We are the best in class and have a Lumiere award to prove it.

Vibehub had some similarities but they have taken things off in a more conventional gaming direction.

8) What phase is the token in? Explore vs. Build vs. Launch vs. Scale. (If there has been no coding yet, your token is in the explore phase)

We have an erc20 with a handful of staff holding shares that roughly equate to what we have registered with the nz companies office. we have not registered it as a security yet, its very primitive at this stage.

9) Will this token be inflationary, deflationary, fixed, or dynamic token supply?

At this stage we have opted for a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens.

10) How long do you think it would take to build a minimal viable token?

under 3 months I think is fine.

11) What skills do you have that would help bring this token to reality? (ex: Marketing, Development, Branding, etc)

Networks in NZ, LA and the UK as well as Egypt and various European countries. Awards and media attention whenever we ask for it in NZ, people at forbes, TED x coming out any day. We have access to VC and really a lot already going on. Personally I am a audio visual guy finishing up a masters degree in media and communication at Auckland university. We have a number of staff that specialize in various aspects of R&D for VR/AR/Visual software etc

12) Are there any inherent weaknesses or obstacles to building this token? Any items you still need to figure out?

Branding, fine tuning and access to new markets and retail investment. We want to go public without going public. Obviously we need to comply with all NZ regulations for securities

p.s. please excuse the informal nature of this initial signal. Just pulled an allnighter. We are working hard to get our new software ready ready for ecommerce

The quality of the work your company produces is phenomenal!

Really love the idea of backing up the world in VR.

I can see why your company won the Lumiere Award for the Educational experience in Egypt. Very impressive!

NFTs representing virtual worlds is brilliant.

I’d love to understand more about these NFTs and the ERC20 token RV.

Would there be multiple copies of individual NFTs so multiple people could access each ‘virtual world’ or is there only a single NFT for each that multiple people can access using the ERC20 token as the payment token, in a pay per minute format or something similar?

How would the RV ERC20 token save on post production costs?

Thanks and Hi BGzetro,

NFT fractionalization would be the way to go I am thinking

We do want to back up the world but the guy from Forbes may have taken it slightly differently to how it was meant. There are a lot of specific places that we want to capture and have been in talks about doing many of the major ancient places you could think of, like in Rome for example… Users can fill in all the extra places to mint the NFT’s than people that ant to enjoy them can buy a fraction. This will drive up the amount of exchanges happening.
Our company technically enabled another company to take all the credit when they bought rights from our partners . Our cvo did all the work on the environment from taking specialist photographs to processing the photogrammetry data all here in NZ.

RV is a proof of stake token in which does R&D so we have other projects going on like DeepMirror and DeepPBR. Backing up all these places of cultural significance to the best quality globally with future functionality and deep learning to upscale and constantly improve the output.

RV should serve as a bounty reward for accepted user based content as well as proof of stake.

This is where we are at in terms of the master token

Where I can buy the token?

Hey @darryljones.eth
thanks for reaching out here and presenting your interesting project.
It appears that you have already put quite some thought into integrating a token.

  • How do you imagine RV and Blockzerolabs Community would ideally cooperate on this project?
  • Which aspects would be suited for us as a community to discuss and work on collectively?
  • Which ideas, questions, strategies would be better discussed with the core team first?

Happy to explore all possibilities.
(Feel free to also dm if you prefer.)

Hi Jorno,

I think talking with the core team first is a good idea.

I think the presentation and infrastructure of blockchain labs is potentially a good fit for us at RV. One of the biggest challenges we have in Auckland is finding the right staff because there simply are not that people in Auckland with relevant and applicable skills.

One of the main issues we lack the ability to address right now is a solid ecommerce integration for our cloud based software (DeepPBR) which we currently run on AWS. I suspect there is a better blockchain model for rendering graphics, there are a few options out there Robonomics or iExec for example?

I suspect it makes sense to create NFT’s from our best vr content that can be fractional similar to projects like NIFTEX but this would need to be reviewed, this would be if we kept each NFT as a unique asset. I have started playing this game called Upland which is a virtual property trading game. A virtual world where users / players buy and sell NFT’s effectively in game.

My colleague is of the belief that we need to find someone who can create an ecommerce solution in react with the stripe payment system, I am not sure if this would be necessary, only for on ramping fiat.

I am keen to organize a meeting with Simon and you guys where we can discuss how this could work and asses whether it is a mutually advantageous partnership.

Best regards,
Darryl Jones
Project Manager / co-founder

Hey, this is awesome. I was planning on a similar idea for Asian and Indian temples and archeological sites. However, it was without the VR aspect. Now, looking at this, this could be integrated into it all perhaps. We should talk…

RNDR token is a project by OTOY for decentralizing GPU specifically for Rendering and Golem Project, similar to iExec but different is basically decentralized cloud computing. Golem is permissionless while iExec seems to be most industry focused, going back to the major players to offer sharing of resources. Love the project idea =) I will be buying some XIO if you all end up partnering

Congrats on all your achievements. It looks and sounds amazing.

Could you specify this a bit more? It sounds primarily like a transaction token, but you mentioning Upland brings NFT property documentation into the picture.

It also sounds like you are focusing on historic monumental places. Do you plan on recreating certain epochs, or if it is user generated should a user own certain areas and time periods? E.g. Kairo 500 bc Kairo 1900 asf?

Appreciate that you presented your project. Hope all went well, also when you talked to the core team.

Yeah my colleague knows the founder of Render. I was trying to get him to buy their tokens. Now look at it mooning. Hope you are well. Did you end up buying xio?

Thank you Frank. I think it is pretty clear now how this will function just by looking at all the projects following suit. I doubt you are still needing an answer for this. Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, we are primarily dealing with historical spaces but we have also done The Homestead (on steam) and NZ parliament and too many others to list. I want to focus on the metaverse projects now though. How are you getting on? You are clearly on the ball talking about time periods. You’ll notice veveverse tackling the timetravel theme, but others will too with time machines. Exciting stuff. The whole idea of time-police, like in the movies (thinking Loki) might not be far off.
